I wonder why the Indians haven’t made it to the list…
Indians doesn’t feel shy when it comes to food… you would become a good businessman if you own a food court… they probably missed out India…

lets see how much we indians spend on food per week .. hmm .. i pay Rs.40 per day for my mess .. plus the snacks and crap .. it’ll be Rs.50 per day for food for a avg teenage guy ( me ) .. lolz .. so that’s Rs.350 per week for a avg teenage guy .. A family will spend a little more than this .. So it’ll be a max of Rs.500 per week for food .. that US$15 per week .. whew .. quite cheap eh .. lolz .. compared to the other countries ..
and i am now in singapore .. here is spend Sing$20 per day for food .. thats Sing$140 per week .. that’s US$60 per week .. this is also cheap .. how come these germans eat for $500 per week .. !!!!
and the food here .. chinese sea food inc squids, octopuses, fish ( all kinds ) etc .. beef, pork, ham, turkey .. !!

so it all depends on the region, doesn’t it? food is costly where the cost of living is high… atleast I guess so…
